Laurie is one of the most compassionate nurses I have met.  

She is professional in all her interactions with patients, nurses, physicians, housekeepers, techs, maintenance, biomed, etc. Laurie listens and communicates in a positive manner.  

She is a major team player and is always willing to lend a helping hand.  

She will help in another department at any time.  

Laurie will even work on her day off if staff is needed and frequently changes her day off to meet the needs of the unit.  

Laurie has been dealing with breast cancer and treatment this past year and has still brought a positive attitude to work every day.  

I think Laurie Welch is a true DAISY Nurse.
