We were blessed to give birth at Saint Joe's. Our premature son has been in the NICU and it has been stressful for us. Laurie was our assigned primary RN and was there for us throughout this whole process - supporting us during this journey. She provided reassurance, tips, a sense of humor, and treated us as people. My wife was touched when Laurie gave her a Preemie Purple Heart Necklace.

Laurie was outstanding. Being away from family could have made this experience horrible. With Laurie, we felt very welcome. Laurie made our stay comforting and amazing. It felt as if my mom was around helping us out.
