During this time of heightened awareness and stressful times, it is the acts of kindness that often go unnoticed. Laurie implemented "Cookies for Coworkers" to show appreciation to other departments and administration for their hard work. These cookies are homemade and have brought excitement and appreciation from the staff.
Laurie also gives sympathy cards signed by her coworkers, and at times collects donations, for those staff members going through difficult times. Her genuine regard for our coworkers is often displayed with her random acts of kindness, an unexpected act of charity, or helpfulness done for others.
