I was not alone when I was injured by a tree branch over the summer, and I thank Laurie for being the kind of individual on whom others can rely on. The care I received from her was extraordinary. She provided exceptional patient care in caring for and cleaning my body from blood and dirt, including my wounds (my left ear with fifty plus stitches, head and arm wounds, two fractured vertebrae and a fractured rib) with the ultimate compassion and kindness. She attended to my wounds and medical care with the highest level of professionalism, skill, dignity, and service. She was always cheerful and demonstrated a positive attitude. She demonstrated superb leadership skills in communicating with and mentoring other medical personnel. My wounds were healing nicely when I was discharged to a skilled nursing facility. Her professionalism, education, experience, training, leadership, positive attitude, kindness, and compassion are all contributing to my successful and speedy recovery. My wife joins me in providing many thanks to Laurie and we wish her every happiness and success in the future.
