I want to recognize Laurin Pooree, RN of the ER Department for her amazing care she gave me while I was in the ER. I was really sick but was not expecting to stay. When the doctor advised me that I was being admitted, I tried to call my husband with my cell phone, but the battery died. Laurin quickly saw that I was upset that I had no way to reach my husband. She asked me for his cell number and she used her personal cell phone to make contact with him to let him know that I was being admitted. Laurin has a servant's heart and is an asset to Jefferson Regional and our community! Thank you, Laurin, for going above and beyond to love your patients and meeting their needs!
