Lauryn Eppard, RN
Lauryn is hard-working, levelheaded, and all around an excellent ED nurse.
During a recent busy night shift, Lauryn alerted me to a subtle change in one of her patients that many people would have ignored. Thanks to Lauryn’s astute clinical judgement, I evaluated the patient immediately, and we expedited her workup. The patient ended up having an aortic dissection and was taken to the OR within the hour.
Lauryn was also managing a preceptee and handled it all gracefully and calmly. She is an invaluable member of the ED team!
