I would like to nominate Nurse Laverme Lee for the DAISY Award in recognition of her exceptional care and dedication during my recent stay. Over the course of two consecutive night shifts, Nurse Laverme went above and beyond to make my experience truly remarkable.

On a night when I hadn’t eaten all day due to not feeling well, Nurse Laverme took the time to prepare a snack for me. Those simple graham crackers with peanut butter became the most delicious and comforting treat I could have asked for. Her kindness and attentiveness made all the difference, and I could feel how much she genuinely cared about my well-being.

Beyond just the physical care, Nurse Laverme and I formed a meaningful connection. I admire her hard work, her compassion, and the way she effortlessly blends professionalism with kindness. I truly hope to one day be as wonderful at my job as she is at hers.

What stands out most is how much Nurse Laverme made me feel seen and cared for during my time there. Nurses like her are rare, and I will never forget how she made me feel that night. Thanks to her, my recovery has been smoother, and I firmly believe that her dedication played a significant role in that.
