Every morning Laverne comes in with a big smile on her face and kind "wake-up" words.I don't have any family or friends anywhere near here and I told Ms. Laverne a lot of my story.Although she is very busy she always takes time to listen and talk to me about things that are going on in my life, not even related to my medical issues.She is a very kind and caring woman with a wonderful bedside manner.I feel blessed to have had her as my nurse every day.Laverne loves her job that is clear by the way she treats her patients.She is a beautiful person and a wonderful nurse and she always goes out of her way to keep me updated on what is going on with my treatment.

Laverne was a blessing!She took care of me the day after my surgery. I appreciate all she did for me.She was so kind and caring.She was very attentive to my needs and feelings and all my concerns.We need more nurses like her with her great bedside manner for her patients.Thank you to Laverne.

As I worked 5thfloor this morning alongside Mrs. Nash, I thought "wow, this lady is a little ball of lightening!" She went from room to room, smiling, wishing everybody good morning, and talking with them about the plan for today.The thing is this though, she did it as she held a hand and looked them in the eye, really looked at them.She is a joy to work with, has a wealth of knowledge and reminds me of what a nurse is about.
