I am the mom of a special needs son. While there Lawanda went above and beyond to make him comfortable but also make me feel comfortable. She was extremely empathic to our situation and treated us with the utmost respect and kindness. She always addressed my son with any questions and explained everything she was doing even when he didn't understand. I myself am a nurse and have been for 20 years and it is harder and harder to find such nurses that have great knowledge and great bedside manner. I truly thank her for the care she gave.
