I, unfortunately, had to visit Naval Hospital ER a few weekends ago. I have visited this ER many times, for the last year and a half. Most often, I received above and beyond care. My patient care in regards to my last visit was nothing short of awesome. Esther M. Colbert, LCDR, who heads the MultiService Ward, was personal that day and her professionalism was very touching. I came into the ER Saturday morning. There was a little boy that required immediate emergency care and all personnel was assisting him. LCDR Colbert responded to the ER to help out during the code blue. She was tending to the others in the ER; she was super polite as always and very attentive. She was thorough with her patient care and concerns. Her communications were outstanding. She even checked on me after via email. If I had to put a word to her actions, it would be motherly.
All in all, the ER here has always been very professional and my visits, exceptional! I would love to give a very warm thank you to the ER and LCDR Colbert.
