Due to the direct and decisive actions of Nurse Antin, a patient's life was saved when a routine endoscopic procedure turned into anything but routine. Immediately following the procedure our patient began to show signs of vascular compromise, their heart rate plummeted and the patient ultimately descended into PEA/Cardiac Arrest.
