Leah is a devoted, compassionate caregiver who never hesitates to lend a helping hand. Leah's role is in our Urgent Care as a charge nurse and her leadership has been instrumental in helping with COVID-19 response efforts with Dean Medical Group - Janesville East. She has helped with operations for the Upper Respiratory Clinic (URI), front entrance screening, and staffing the evaluation trailer. Leah flexed her hours to participate in COVID-19 communication meetings, helped Urgent Care providers and staff with understanding new workflows, and assisted with the expansion of the URI clinic.
"Leah also took it upon herself to be there every morning we had a new screener at our front entrance, to make sure they had the information and training they needed to do their role. If there were gaps in coverage, Leah would jump in to help cover the front entrance and would always greet you with a smile."
Staff and providers at Dean Medical Group - Janesville East are said to "have a calmness within the department when Leah is the nurse leader." Leah does a wonderful job of helping to resolve issues and keeps daily operations running smoothly in her department. Leah also uses her nursing knowledge to ensure that exceptional services and outcomes are always being delivered to our patients.
