I truly couldn't say enough wonderful things about Leah and the compassionate care she gives to every patient she encounters. As a new nurse to St. Jude in 2016, I could always depend on her to be an aid to me if I ever needed help. That kindness has transcended through the years, and I've seen her nurture may orientees in that time span, as well as, who've gone on to become amazing nurses in their own regards. Leah is truly the type of nurse that you think of as the "model nurse" for any and all units. She is highly dependable, and whenever I question what I should do in a patient care situation at work, I truly always think to myself, "what would Leah do?"
