Leah Hawk, RN, BSN

Leah Hawk has been incredible in my education as a new ER nurse. She is smart, patient, kind, and genuine. She is always available (even after hours) to help with any questions we have. She has made time for me to come down to ER to work specifically with me when I have asked for a little more help. Most recently, she has jumped in to assist with patient care. On Sunday while working as the house supervisor, she came down to the ER. We were understaffed. She immediately jumped in to help us in any way she could. She answered call lights, assisted patients to the restroom, ran labs, and anything else needed. I have been a nurse for twenty years and haven’t met many coworkers that are as friendly, positive, encouraging, supportive, and educated as Leah. She is the nurse we should all strive to be.
