Leah was nominated by a peer in conjunction with her actions with another nurse on the unit. The person reported that usually one would nominate a single nurse at a time, but I observed a most impressive moment where two nurses worked together as a seamless team to help a young lady through a challenging intervention. Although it was an isolated event, I believe it is just one of many times these nurses collaborate to deliver phenomenal patient care.
