During Leah's shift, she triaged a young woman complaining of abdominal pain and vaginal bleeding. This patient denied being pregnant and could not recall her last LMP. Leah followed her gut feeling and was persistent about this patient needing to be bedded as soon as possible. This was a busy shift, with multiple high acuity patients in the ED. Leah notified the charge RN and explained her concerns.
