I would like to nominate Leah for the DAISY Award because of her unwavering compassion, dedication, and teamwork. She consistently goes above and beyond for her patients, providing not only excellent clinical care but also genuine kindness and comfort that make a lasting impact on patients and families.

In addition to her compassionate care, Leah is always mindful of hospital resources. She carefully considers expenses and finds ways to minimize unnecessary costs without ever compromising the quality of care. This thoughtfulness demonstrates her respect for both the patients and the healthcare system here at Salem as a whole. Leah is a true team player; she is always willing to step in and help, whether it’s lending a hand, offering support, or sharing knowledge. It’s rare to find a nurse who embodies such compassion, resourcefulness, and teamwork all in one. Leah exemplifies what it means to be a DAISY nurse.
