I suffered a stroke and spent 10 days at Summit Hospital. All of the nurses and therapists were very caring and helpful, but Leah went above and beyond to be helpful, caring, and calming during this very difficult time for me.
I had to undergo an MRI, and I voiced my fear to Leah. She suggested putting a cool, damp cloth over my eyes to help calm me during the MRI, and it worked! I was so grateful to her.
After 10 days I was discharged, only to return to Summit with complications from the stroke for another three days. When Leah heard of my re-admission, she made it a point to check on me daily.
She was reassuring, attentive, efficient, and kind during my stay. For that, I will always be so very grateful to her.
Eight months later my wife was hospitalized for three days, and Leah took time out of her busy day to check on my wife.
Leah is simply the best, and a true DAISY Nurse.
