Leah came into our lives unexpectedly due to my husband having a heart attack. After he was released from CICU, he was sent to Leah while he waited for open-heart surgery. I can't even begin to tell you how at ease I felt immediately after meeting her. I watched her interact with my husband and knew she was the perfect person to help him (and me) through this very scary time. She educated both of us as to what exactly was happening with my husband. She began preparing us for the surgery and recovery period. Her bedside manner was the most genuine I have ever witnessed; there was nothing phony about her. Leah has a great combination of empathy, humor, intelligence, and a hands-on approach that makes you feel that "it's going to work out". She not only cared for my husband, but she also cared for me. She told me I was going to need some "me" time during this ordeal. Leah is pretty fantastic!
