I've been a nurse for 10 years and have an early onset of illness. The staff at Baptist Memphis has been really patient and helpful with me for two years now as I work with this debilitating disease. It affects a lot of my nursing responsibilities, especially writing and starting IVs. I've noticed this nurse as one of the strongest nurses I've ever worked with. More than once, she has helped me rescue my patients and is always willing to lend a hand to any of her coworkers. She's only been a nurse for a few years, but you wouldn't know it by her ability and knowledge. She's so personable with her patients. I've seen her sitting at the bedside of a patient asking hard questions and being so concerned. Her husband has health issues, and she is great support for him and the two children. Honestly, she's like a super nurse! She not only qualifies for this award, she deserves it!!! Thank you.
