I am pleased to nominate Ms. Fowler for the Daisy Award. She exhibits inspiration compassionate care to faculty and students, promotes the advancement of the art and science of nursing, exhibits a personal and professional commitment to LSUHSC SON, demonstrates leadership, mentor students, and exhibits the School of Nursing core values ? C-PRIDE. Since the beginning of my Sophomore II semester, I?ve known her as an energetic and goal-oriented person. She has proactively joined research at our university. She keeps her work on schedule and very professional. When I had concerns or questions about assignments, she spoke clearly and directly, giving helpful advice and tips on how to study and succeed in nursing school. Her teaching ability is phenomenal; she presents content that would normally be most complicated, in a very clear and concise manner. She is the one instructor that I feel comfortable approaching with school related concepts, and leave with the immediate confidence from the motivation she projects. Mrs. Fowler along with other faculty has demonstrated great teamwork and expertise through her participation in the Sim-lab demo. Mrs. Fowler is caring as evidence of the love she puts into her work and students. She has always presented herself professionally from attire to attitude. I feel that she is very respectful. Mrs. Fowler?s passion for nursing compels her integrity and ability to be diverse. I feel that she has mastered Excellence for this award because she has not only been my biggest inspiration, but an excellent person overall!
