Leanne Talbot
Leanne is always considerate and kind, but on this occasion, she made sure that our daughter had such a wonderful 23rd birthday in the hospital.
Leanne is very mindful of her moods and her autism, and she timed everything perfectly — singing happy birthday, organising it with all the other nurses and HCAs, and presenting a cake at just the right moment so that she would not be totally overwhelmed by the occasion.
Leanne was very patient, liaised with the family, and waited all day, coming in every hour or so to check on Louise and chat with her. She was also lovely to all the friends and family who visited, making sure with the other nurses and HCAs that they had drinks, etc.
Leanne even cut up the cake and boxed pieces so relatives could take them home, all while still being very busy with other patients that day.
