Leea took great care of my dad when he came to the hospital. She listened to all of my dad's concerns and his account of the fall. Leea’s eyes, tone, and demeanor were warm and welcoming. She took down all of my dad's areas of pain and communicated that to the doctor. Upon inspection, she found the source of bleeding on my dad's left ear. While Leea was not in the room, she would stop by and inform us that X-Ray was on their way, and ask if we needed anything. While drawing my dad's blood, Leea’s value for human dignity shone through as she shared my dad's love for automotive racing and they exchanged memories of events they had frequented. During our visit, my dad was not treated any less because he is over 65. Later on, Leea came into the room to clean up the clotted blood on my dad's forehead, face, and ear. She went above and beyond her call of duty. She even used discretion when seeing the blood on my dad's forehead and ear. She did not show signs of fear or worry for my dad. In fact, she was well prepared for wound care as she carried her own bandage scissors in her scrub pants pocket, which became useful when she had to rebandage my dad's ear and headwrap after he changed out of his bloody clothes into clean clothes. Leea made us feel like we were family.
