Leena exemplifies the true meaning of what it means to be a nurse. She is a person resilient enough to tolerate anything and yet soft enough to care. With over 11 years of service at NMC, from the orthopedics department to eventually being chosen as the nursing in charge of oncology care.
Leena has worked with sincerity and dedication beyond the call of duty. Her true sense of commitment and sacrifice was clearly evident when the nurse in her, overshadowed her call as a mother, caring for her child afflicted with cancer. She kept focused and strived forward, conquering all her challenges, setting an example and breaking molds all along the way.
