Nomination:
I have worked near and with Leesa for years and have always known that she has excellent skills and knowledge, but the real reason she impresses me is that no matter what situation she is in, or how busy it gets, she takes the time to explain and include the parents/family in what is happening. She does so in a friendly and professional manner, and she takes the time to explain complex medical information to them on their own level, whatever it may be. She keeps them as informed and involved as possible, and I believe that she presents and gathers information in a caring and non-threatening manner. I have seen it repeatedly, and am always impressed. She deserves recognition for a job well done.
