Being a nurse myself, I know having a nurse for a patient can be intimidating to some. She not only took excellent care of me, but also helped to teach (a new nurse). She helped me to heal physically and mentally. She also gave a game plan of how the night would go and what to expect when. That was so helpful! I had also nonchalantly mentioned a breakfast burrito that I had been itching for since being admitted numerous times over January. I told her I only thought about it on Sundays when the place was closed. Never thinking she would have one sent to my room one morning AFTER she finished her nightshift. That made my day. I never got to thank her because she was only working weekends. She was selfless and thinking of me and my journey after working all night. She is a DAISY Nurse.
