Leigh Fowler, RN

My son was admitted to Piedmont Athens with bronchiolitis and a gnarly ear infection. As a hospital social worker, I thought that I had a good understanding of medical conditions and how they are usually treated however, seeing my son in the hospital, needing medical treatment was a humbling experience to say the least. Enter Leigh. She was our nurse a couple of times throughout our stay. Leigh answered all of my questions and those of my protective, worried, RN mother. Leigh reassured me that we were in great hands and that she and her team knew how to treat my son's conditions. She provided the calm in the midst of my fear and worry. Her care for my son was exceptional. We are so appreciative of all of the nurses and tech's care for my son and our family during our stay. I believe that this is largely in part due to Leigh's example as a charge and bedside nurse. Thank you so so much, Leigh!
