In her nomination, a patient remarked on the outstanding care Leigh proved when both the patient and their father were hospitalized due to COVID-19. The patient never had a chance to thank Leigh until this January, nearly three years later, when they had a chance meeting at MRMC. I kept asking for the nurse who was sitting with my dad, but no one knew who she was, so I never could thank her. I told everyone she was my dad's angel. It was 2.5 years later, but God let us finally meet.
