Leigh is an exemplary nurse who should be commended by the health system. My recent interaction with her helped me through one of the most difficult times in my life. I went in to short stay for a minor cyst removal and clean up of scar tissue. When I woke up the first person I saw was Leigh. Her happy soothing voice told me she was going to give me some pain medication, for me to rest and we would progress as slowly as I needed. She kept me in conversation and constantly reevaluated my pain and blood pressure. She kept me engaged with her and made me feel at ease. She was there assuring me that I would be ok and was attentive to my every need. She kept me calm and comfortable. She was so caring and helpful. She made not only me but my husband feel a sense of warmth and calmness. I credit Leigh for saving my life.
