Leigh served as one of the primary nurses for our youngest NICU patient – a baby who defied the odds and hovered at the edge of viability. Throughout this fragile and uncertain journey, she provided exceptional care and unwavering dedication during the baby’s six-month hospital stay.

She was both informative and compassionate with the parents, ensuring they felt supported, heard, and included every step of the way. With remarkable foresight and coordination, she anticipated everything needed for a safe discharge and managed each detail with precision and heart. Her commitment extended beyond clinical care – she celebrated this remarkable milestone by organizing a heartfelt sendoff party for the baby and their family, leaving a lasting impact on the family and our team.

She is also an incredible teammate – reliable, supportive, and always willing to step in when help is needed. You can count on her without question, and her presence brings joy, calm, and positivity to those around her. She truly embodies the spirit of patient advocacy, teamwork, and compassionate care.
