Leighann Elzig, RN

Leighann goes above and beyond for the department on a daily basis. She works quietly behind the scenes, when she sees a problem she immediately creates a solution and the steps to ensure failures do not occur, and then goes above and beyond to assist in educating the department appropriately. She creates a safe space for learning and continues to seek further education continuously. When a code or trauma rolls in, she is the one that we are all thankful for when she walks into the room. Leighann is a positive light in this department, and an absolute joy to work with. Leighann makes us all want to be better and do better for our patients and is the one I pray for if I ever have to bring my family in.
