I came to St. Mary’s because of a medication reaction. I was in severe pain from a two-sided headache. My nurse was on fire. She treated me with such compassion. It seemed to me like she never left my side during my ordeal. When I needed more pain relief she got the doctor and advocated for me, he gave it to me! I closed my eyes but the pain would not let me really sleep but her soothing voice seemed ever-present. At one point she brushed my hair back off my forehead as my mother did. I thank her from the bottom of my heart and wish her love for all her life like she gave me.
