LeNae Gross was our first favorite nurse. She was positive and able to lighten the serious mood with humor during a time when it was hard for us to remember to smile/laugh. She used her creative spirit to help us decorate our baby's space in the NICU. LeNae knew how much we wanted to see the first time he opened his eyes, so she made sure to have a camera beside P's isolette and took a picture of that moment for us!
After our transfer, LeNae took her personal time to check in with us on P's progress regularly, including visiting on her day off. LeNae helped make the NICU a less scary/sad place for us.
