Lennie Davis, RN, MSN, MS, NEA-BC, CNE is an Assistant Professor in the RN-BSN online degree completion option at Chamberlain College of Nursing, Downers Grove, IL. She has more than four decades of experience in nursing practice, administration, education and consulting. 
Davis has been a professor at Chamberlain for nearly a decade. Prior to joining Chamberlain, she served in a variety of roles within the nursing profession, including Assistant Professor of Nursing at the University of Rio Grande, Rio Grande, Ohio, Nursing Administrator at Holzer Medical Center -Jackson, Ohio and Director of Education, Director of Nursing Staff Services and Director and Adult Nurse Practitioner at a rural health clinic, all for Holzer Health System -Gallipolis, Ohio. In addition, Davis served in the U.S. Naval Reserves Nurse Corps for five years achieving the rank of Lieutenant Commander where she served as the Executive Officer for her medical unit. She has served as a Legal Nurse Consultant and Nurse Educator/Adjunct Faculty member for colleges of nursing as well as health services administration programs.  She has held various staff nurse positions as well. 
She has presented locally, regionally, nationally and internationally on a variety of topics related to nursing and healthcare.  Her passions include international travel and mentoring nurses.
