Lenora Sevcik, Ph.D., RN

Dr. Sevcik provides a learning environment to her students that creates a sense of belonging and purpose. She is a student's number one “hype man” in helping them believe they CAN be successful. Struggling students state that Dr. Sevcik finds different ways to teach and explains concepts in different ways to ensure understanding. Another student pointed out, "Dr. Sevcik pushed me to expect more of myself but did it while standing beside me." Dr. Sevick’s speech, attitude, tone, and approach to class are positive and uplifting thereby creating a learning environment where questions are welcomed. Her excitement when students excel is palpable.
