I would like to acknowledge the exceptional service that I received from Mrs. Leo Augustine. Mrs. Leo exemplified superb service as the patient’s nurse every day she worked with me. She tirelessly performed her duty without complaint or attitude and with a big smile, always asking after she'd done everything if there was anything else that I needed. Her energy is so positive that when she comes into the room, I may be feeling down and in pain, I may be feeling depressed, but just when I see her walk into the room, her smile and her greeting turn my whole emotional state around to a positive and relaxed one. She did this every day, all day. She is a very exceptional person. A little kindness goes a long way; she is definitely a part of the healing process that we all need to experience after having a medical issue and being taken care of by the doctors and the medicine. The healing that she provides is priceless. Thank you for having her as part of your staff. She made my stay at Emory a pleasant one.
