Leo Tanega 2, RN III

I have had 2 very different experiences over the past year. Leo has taken care of me. I can’t imagine how my experiences would have turned out without him. In August, I had to have an emergency pacemaker. Leo was right there with me until I was transported to Maine Med. Then my most recent experience was in March. Both times, his care was caring, patient, and compassionate. He went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, fed, and emotionally supported. He goes above and beyond the scope of his job. He gives from the heart and soul. I will be forever grateful to him. I can’t say enough good about him. He kept me informed about what, why, and how my medical condition was progressing. Always had an answer to my questions or got me one. I suffer from severe anxiety; he spent time talking with me and helping to ease my mind. We need more Leos in the world. I have always gotten good care at Mid Coast. But Leo has always held a special place in my heart. Outstanding service. Thank you, Leo!
