Leon, thank you for the care you gave our son H. There are not enough words to express our gratitude for all you did for him. You gave him dignity by helping him find pants to give him some privacy. You helped him calm down from the anxious thoughts he was having. You took the time to listen and ask questions until you could determine the right course of action with how he was feeling and to help reduce his pain.
You took time and care in making him comfortable by untangling the miles of tubing around him. You helped bring joy and light into a room that was weary from two hard days. The manner in which you taught and helped him with getting up and moving after surgery was clear and compassionate. You even celebrated with us as we got to move one step closer to going home. You are truly gifted in your service to others. You are an exceptional nurse and may you be blessed beyond measure.
