After my surgery was completed I was taken to the 4th floor South Orthopedic area. This was my first surgery after 50 years of my life. I had no idea what to expect. Leon was my nurse on the night shift. He showed great skills, information, assistance, support and excelled in making my stay here top notch. He would also stay with me and adjust my bed to whatever it took to make it the best for me. He was on time and accurate when it came to medications and explained each one that was given if I asked, didn't know or a new one was added from my doctor. His attention to detail and knowledge shows how professional he is in his field of expertise. I'm sure male nurses are at a disadvantage to the female counterpart by profession but, he showed excellent character for the male nurses and adds to the professionalism to him, the orthopedic floor and St Francis hospital. He made my stay much easier and reassuring.
