Midway through my chemo treatment, I started developing a reaction to Taxol. We were not expecting this but I started- unexpectedly- going into anaphylactic shock! I was completely terrified and Lesa, without a second thought, stopped the administration and grabbed my hand, and told me it was going to be okay. Not only was I impressed with the swiftness in the way she acted, but how calm she was while providing me with the comfort I needed after such a scary event. This is just one example of Lesa's exemplary work as a nurse- her care, calmness, and excellence. I always felt like I was in good hands and she made a difficult experience that much better. She is a joy to be around and great at what she does!
