I wish to recognize Lesley for her excellent nursing on 3 different occasions. The first occasion involved my husband at Long Creek Endo. She showed her excellent nursing skills, was kind, and compassionate during a difficult time. The second occasion was at State Street Endo with my daughter who had an EGD. Lesley reassured my daughter and got her at ease and her procedure went smoothly. The third instance, I was working and observed Lesley taking care of a difficult sickly patient and Lesley went above and beyond to comfort the patient and her family. Her years of nursing experience came into play as she tried to make things comfortable for the patient's family. She certainly shows the dedication of her job in taking care of her patients.

Lesley exhibited what an Extraordinary Nurse she is one day last week. We had a chronically ill young patient whose mother cared for her at home around the clock. Not only did Lesley provide excellent, compassionate care to the young patient (a 28-year-old paraplegic in for an EGD), but she supported the patient's mother with caring and compassion, even seconding the physician's suggestion that the mom take a much-needed break and go to lunch while the patient was being cared for. This resulted in the patient being cared for by Lesley for 4+ hours in addition to the other scheduled patients. Lesley cared for this young woman with compassion and the kind of caring you wish would be shown to your own loved ones. The young woman's mother phoned the next day to express her appreciation for the wonderful care her daughter got.
