I have worked with Leslie for the last three years. I have seen how personally connected she was with each one of her patients. She makes the patient feel very important, enlightens them of what services they can avail, and is truly a patient advocate. Below is a letter about Leslie from one of her patients and it truly exemplifies how good of a nurse she is.

It is with great admiration of Leslie Anderson that I am writing this note. I was a patient in your Cancer Center, Leslie took care of me. From the moment I walked in, she was there to assist me and to help me understand what exactly would take place during my visit. Not only did she give me helpful information, but it was done with such kindness and gentleness. When she started the procedure, she explained everything she was doing and why. This means a lot to someone who is dealing with cancer. When someone takes the time to answer your questions and give you all the time you need, I think their professional kindness should be recognized.
Cleveland Clinic Hospital can be very proud of all of the staff at Hillcrest Cancer Center they are wonderful people.
