Leslie Arballo, RN
Leslie Arballo is the perfect example of why I trust Baptist Hospital with the care of my loved ones. From the moment my grandfather arrived by EMS, the ER was extremely chaotic, yet she remained calm, compassionate, and confident, making my grandmother and me feel reassured during an incredibly difficult time.
She treated our family with kindness and respect. She recognized how devoted we were to my grandfather’s recovery and made us feel appreciated rather than a burden. When she noticed we were still in the ED the next morning, she found a recliner so my grandmother, who has chronic health issues herself, could elevate her swollen feet to rest while staying by her husband’s side.
It may have seemed like a small gesture, but to us it meant everything. It symbolized compassion and understanding of the emotional weight families carry when refusing to leave the side of someone they love. Leslie's actions reflect the very best of nursing care, and our family will never forget the kindness and dignity she showed us.
