My dad was admitted to PAM due to complications from COVID, the ups and downs have been long and at this time, his downs involved an extensive bowel surgery and a stay in ICU at DeTar. The fear was heavy during and after surgery, but this particular ICU nurse had such kindness and compassion towards my dad and me. She always took my calls and would speak to me at length. I had so much comfort with him being in ICU because she said to me, “I will care for him as if he were my father.” My fears and anxiety melted away. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart Leslie, You are our Angel.
