Leslie is an incredible nurse whom I've been honored to work with over the years. When I was beginning as a case manager, she was a CNL on the 420 PCCU, and she was someone whom I felt confident to go to for guidance and direction. She has always been someone whom I've looked up to because of her knowledge and experience as a nurse.

She moved to the ICU, and I wasn't in much communication with her for a while until today, 3/22, when we were both working with patients on the ICU. She had a patient who needed to go back home to a rural location. The patient had been transferred to T C because of cardiac arrest and, somewhere along the way, lost her clothing.

After Case Management searched high and low for the patient's clothing size, the clothing couldn't able to be found for her to go home with. Instead of sending her home in scrubs, Leslie went to the gift shop and bought the patient clothes with her own money. This is just one example of how Leslie encompasses MC's values of community, compassion, integrity, and dedication. Leslie is someone who continually provides exceptional healthcare with compassion. She deserves it!
