I've previously heard from my colleagues about Leslie's expertise in end-of-life care but was recently able to witness her incredible talents first hand as she cared for a patient of mine who was dying. Leslie guided the family through the patient's last days with warmth and grace. She conducted a ceremony around the removal of support that moved many family members and providers, including me, to tears. It was an honor to be a part of what I know to be Leslie's regular practice of going above and beyond for our patients. She truly embodies the power of the nursing role.
