I want to recognize Leslie for her role in the “No One Dies Alone” Campaign that she single-handedly championed during the COVID outbreak. Everyone was so tied up in all the craziness that people started to overlook the patients that were suffering alone. During that time CV didn’t allow family visitation, even if the patient was on their death bed. This outstanding nurse developed a protocol in the CV that if you were an end-of-life patient, you would always have someone at your bedside. If life support was being removed, someone will be holding your hand. She should be commended for her love. She is a good one and helped me refocus on what is important. Leslie is a true DAISY Nurse.
