During Dad's hospital stay at St.Luke's Hospital, we immediately noticed Leslie's professionalism, attention to detail, along with her joyful spirit and deep caring and compassion for our Dad. Her caring smile and kind words to Dad brought smiles and focus to him in his last days. When Dad had difficulty verbalizing his needs, Leslie would hold his hand and smile and communicate to him kindness, love, and compassion. We saw the joy in Dad's eyes as he would respond to Leslie with a smile and a nod of his head. We sincerely appreciate Leslie's compassion, empathy, and quiet strength. Leslie's excellence as a nurse brought extraordinary service and compassionate care to our Dad. Leslie will always be to us an outstanding role model in the nursing community.
