Leslie Joseph, RN, CN II
Due to post-op complications, I required another visit to the hospital where I encountered Leslie. As my nurse, Leslie cared for me and a myriad of patients as if I was the only person there. It was obvious that there were a lot of people to take care of. I was to be admitted to the hospital and there were zero beds. I spent the next 30 hours in the ER awaiting a room. She was there for almost the entire duration, going home for a handful of hours to sleep (and hopefully see her children). Her response to being there was: "If I don't stay, who will help these patients? I want everyone to feel cared for." Leslie was selfless so kind and so empathetic. I ended up having a panic attack while there. Leslie is top-notch and there needs to be more of her in the world. So grateful to be in her care.
