Nominated by a patient's family: From the moment my husband was wheeled into his room, Leslie made us feel like we were part of her family. She spoke so sweetly to Jimmy, rubbed his arm, made him comfortable and got him whatever he needed. She made me feel comfortable too. She took time to talk with us and never once rushed out of the room, even though she had other patients to care for. Her compassionate care was "off the charts", and has set the bar very high for future care. She took a very scary, stressful, devastating time in our lives and eased our spirits to make it bearable.
